However, it does take some practice, as positioning and pumping simultaneously isn't easy. A benefit of the manual pump is that you can control the pace. You also don't have to worry about electricity or batteries. A manual pump is also much more affordable than electric models. The single-electric pump offers the option of expressing one breast at a time. This is a great option if pumping comes easily to you. Because a double electric breast pump ensures that the milk flow starts faster because you can pump both breasts at the same time.
